I walked out to the desk, did my little stance… and…
Immediatly a patron with a compleetly puzzled look on her face came walking up the stairs to me… As I answered her question, the phone rang.
It seems we are now geting complaints form students over ADA issues. Issues that I have been bitching about for years… Issues that no one would listen to me about… Issues that no one would listen to the ADA specalist on campus about… Now the library is getting scolded for us not mentioning these “obvious” issues… WTF!!! I’ve been screaming about them for years!!!
Oh, and while I’m venting, lets not forget to toss in that a consultant is coming in to go over data integration for the new administrative system during the week I took off for my vacation. So now if I want to be in the loop for that at all… which I need to be so that I will be able to do my job in the future… I’m probably going to have to come in during the vacation at least for a few meetings.
