Village board meetings…

Well I’m back from the village board meeting. I still find myself amazed at some of the things that go on at the meeting. Tonights was ran through pretty quick, which was a surprise. They usually run much longer. There was only one argument tonight though, which I guess is a good thing. The funniest thing to me was to find out that a couple of our police officers participated in some homeland security drill in Chicago recently and they played the part of terrorists… 🙂 It would probably have been funnier if I found out it was the neighboring towns police that played the part of terrorists… a couple of them have had plenty of practice in my experience…
