This weekend I attended the 2nd annual “Port Washington Pirate Festival”. I have to say, I was impressed, and I had a really good time. For it’s second year it has grown a lot from what was described to me last year. There was a decent merchant area, lots of music (WOOHOOO), and the area near the dock included a number of military camps including Bristols own Guild of St Micheal. What Pirate fest woudl be complete without ships of course, so they had the tall ship “Windy II” offering cruises.
