Ok, whatever plauge this is going around again… GO AWAY!!! The sinus pressure is enough to make me want to take a drill to my head to drain it out… (No, No I would never actually do that.. but GAAAH it sure seems like a nice pressure release tactic…) Toss in the probabl fever… No I didn’t check it but I am going from sweating to freezing off and on. Then toss in the achy lower back, and overall weak feeling and I’m pretty sure I’ve got some bug or someting… Probably sinus infection again… God those seem to start earlier and earlier every year…
In other news… I think I had one of the most disgusting moments in my life this morning…
I put my shoes on got in the car and drove to the Dr’s Office where I stopped to drop off payment for a bill. As I approached the building I felt something in my shoe. At first I thougth it was just a stone or even a coin that might have fallen through a hole in my pocket. I was ready to ignore it. Yet, as I went to take another step the object in my shoe moved. and by move, I don’t mean it shifted… I mean on its own accord, under its own power… You can imagine the shock and the knee jerk reaction of jumping. Well when I landed I could still feel the lump of this formerly animated object under the arch of my foot. I immediatly returned to the car and removed my shoe. I examined my sock to find it coated in a gooey yellow substance of unknown origin. Dangling from this viscous sludge was a pair of large black legs. I then proceeded to shake out my shoe to find the other half of my invader. As the front half of an extreemly large cricket fell to the ground, its innards trailing behind it, I suppressed the urge to vomit. I then rummaged for a napkin to attempt to clean the putred bodily fluids from the bottom of my now yellowing sock. The entire rest of the day each and every time I took a step I swear I could feel something moving in my shoe…
Tonight my shoes are in a new location hopefully far from and invaders.
